About

Building at the intersection of engineering and design

Technical lead with extensive experience architecting end-to-end systems across enterprise, e-commerce, and product environments. I specialize in bridging architectural purity with product delivery, owning the software lifecycle from system design to production incident management.

Across a career spanning full-cycle product companies, e-commerce platforms, and mission-critical enterprise systems, I've consistently operated as the engineer who bridges architectural purity with real-world product impact — owning the complete lifecycle of what I build, from initial design decisions and technical trade-off conversations, through implementation and testing, to production incident management and root-cause analysis.

In recent years, my focus has expanded to AI-powered interfaces: building streaming LLM experiences, speech-to-text and text-to-speech pipelines, and the API contracts that connect machine learning inference to intuitive, interactive UI components — positioning me at the leading edge of how frontend engineering is evolving alongside applied AI.

Philosophy

Simplicity over cleverness

The best code is the code that doesn't need to exist. When it must exist, it should be obvious.

Performance is UX

A 100ms delay is a broken experience. I measure first, then optimise with data, not intuition.

Ship, measure, iterate

Perfect is the enemy of shipped. Real-world usage is the only true validation of a product's value, so I build to learn quickly.

Systems thinking

Great products are the result of great systems — architecture, process, and team culture compound.

Interests

Travel

A lifelong pursuit of discovering new places, immersing myself in different cultures, and collecting experiences that broaden my view of the world.

Photography

A passion for capturing fleeting moments and telling stories through a lens. It is my favorite way to slow down and find beauty in everyday details.

Reading

A continuous habit of learning that keeps me current across both technical developments in frontend architecture and AI, as well as broader ideas outside of engineering.

Cricket

A lifelong interest reflecting my appreciation for strategy, teamwork, and sustained focus under pressure — qualities that mirror my approach to leading engineering teams through complex, high-stakes projects.
